Ἡ Ἐνορία τοῦ Ἱεροῦ Ναοῦ Εἰσοδίων τῆς Θεοτόκου Τερψιθέας Γλυφάδας ἱδρύθη διά Βασιλικοῦ Διατάγματος ἐκδοθέντος τήν 25/07/1966 καί δημοσιευθέντος τήν 16/08/1966 ἐν τῷ ὑπ᾿ ἀριθμ. 157 Φ.Ε.Κ (τ. Α΄).
Διά τῆς ἀπό 26/04/1967 ἀποφάσεως τοῦ (τότε) Μητροπολιτικοῦ Συμβουλίου (τῆς Ἀρχιεπισκοπῆς Ἀθηνῶν) καθωρίσθησαν ὡς ὅρια αἱ ὁδοί: Προποντίδος – Αἰγύπτου – Εὐξείνου Πόντου καί Ἴριδος, τῶν ὁποίων ἡ μία πλευρά ὑπάγεται εἰς τόν Ἱερόν Ναόν Εἰσοδίων, ἡ δέ ἑτέρα εἰς τόν Ἱερόν Ναόν Ἁγίου Τρύφωνος.
Ὁ θεμέλιος λίθος κατετέθη τήν Κυριακήν, 23ην Ἰουνίου 1968. Κατά τήν 24ην Δεκεμβρίου τοῦ ἔτους 2002 ἑγένοντο τά θυρανοίξια τοῦ Νέου Μεγάλου Ναοῦ, παρά τοῦ Νέου καί πρώτου Μητροπολίτου Γλυφάδας κ. Παύλου τοῦ Α΄, καί ἐν συνεχείᾳ ἐτελέσθη ὁ Μ. Ἑσπερινός τῶν Χριστουγέννων.
Ὁ παλαιός Ἱερός Ναός τῶν Εἰσοδίων (ὑπόγειος Ἱερός Ναός) μετωνομάσθῃ ‒ κατόπιν κληρώσεως κατά τήν πανήγυριν τοῦ Ἱεροῦ Ναοῦ, τήν 21ην Νοεμβρίου 2005 ‒ ὑπό τοῦ Σεβασμιωτάτου Μητροπολίτου Γλυφάδας κ. Παύλου εἰς Ἱερόν Ναόν τοῦ Ἁγίου Μεγαλομάρτυρος Φανουρίου τοῦ Θαυματουργοῦ.
